Innisfree Long Wear BB Cream Review
9:12 pm
Ever since Innisfree opened their stores in Hong Kong, I have bought and tried many of the products in their skincare range. And yes, I am a huge fan of the brand. I have never ever tried foundation as I always have been scared that it might suddenly cause my skin to breakout. I have tried BB cream from a few other brands which are not worthy of a review. They have caused acne. This Long Wear BB Cream is my first ever cosmetic from Innisfree and comes in only 3 shades: #1 Pink Beige, #2 Natural Beige and #3 True Beige. It would be nice if they had more shades so it would be easier for people to select and try one which is similar to the tone of their skin, but due to their limited shades they can’t. It claims to last a long time and provides the user with a perfect cover.
I am using #1 Pink Beige as it’s relatively close to my skin colour. The formula might seem light and bright however within one or two minutes after the application, you will notice how it blends well. I love how it is in a tube which makes it easier for me to put on my hand, without unnecessary wastage and will definitely last you for a year. I apply it with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, which I wet before I dab the sponge with a small amount of the BB cream. It certainly helps you cover up any blemish or redness, however for darker spots, you might need a concealer. It blends out very well and does not make your face look cakey. It has a nice semi matte, dewy or natural finish and provides a medium coverage more than a tinted moisturiser but less than a foundation. The smell is alright, not too overwhelming.
It's definitely one of the best BB Creams I have ever used and this product is great for everyday wear. If you are looking for a natural looking skin with a light-sheer coverage, this product is most likely for you.
Love,
