Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence Review

Essences can be found in lots of Korean beauty skin care routines. The function of essences lie somewhere among a serum (check out my Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum review) and a face cream. It has a clear liquid texture. One of the best things about essences are that they are compatible with every skin type, whether you have dry, dull, acne prone or oily skin.
There are 2 types of Innisfree Soybean Energy Essences, one being the Light and the other one Original. The one I am using right now is the Original version because the sales person gave me this when I asked for the Light version (my first ever essence). However, both have the same functions even though the original contains 91% of fermented Jeju soybean solution and the Light version contains 94%. Its active ingredients give you a glowy complexion and helps to restore firmness. As well as this, there is a 9-free system: harmful additives paragons, animal ingredients, mineral oil, silicon oil, synthetic colour, polyacrylamide, imidazolidinly urea, triethanolamine and fragrance. For winter, I definitely prefer this version as the texture is more viscous than water whilst the Light version is watery which is good for summer. I just love this essence and how it makes my skin feel super smooth and soft. It absorbs quickly into skin leaving zero residue. It also helps to calm your zits. My skin feels supple and more moisturised after applying. This product is amazing.
You use this after cleansing and before your entire skincare. I suggest not to pour it into a cotton ball or pad as you might be wasting the product and all the nutrients and moisture your skin desires. Instead, pour a little amount onto your hands and pat or press it into your forehead, chin and cheeks. By doing so, your skin is able to absorb it quickly.
Most of the essences are pricey but if you want to have great skin, you have got to commit. Once you see the results, your skin will be thankful.
Love,
Rosh
