In case you might not have realised, Lush not only provides a high standard of quality skincare options but also offers products for teeth, hair and nails. Their range of Toothy Tabs is just one of these.
I was a bit taken aback when I came across these products. I remembered I asked one of my best friends whether its edible or not. Oh silly Rosh! So every time I visited Lush, I got more and more curious but I was still hesitant to purchase. Honestly, the whole concept to ditch the paste and switch to tabs is just a great idea. Basically, Toothy tabs are small powdery tablets that come in a 50g plastic bottle which makes them great for travel. It contains enough tabs to last you for a good three months if used once or twice a day. They have a wide selection of options available with a variety of 7 flavours for sale: Boom!, Bling!, Miles of Smiles, Sparkle, Dirty, Oral Pleasure and Limelight and are made from baking powder. I got Boom! as a gift from my man. It’s filled with detoxifying ingredients like powdered charcoal and gunpowder tea and has a spicy cola flavour. I was a bit worried about the taste, however, it is in fact quite pleasant and limey. I have been using this for a while now and my mouth definitely feels fresher and cleaner for it. I have noticed how my teeth have become so much whiter now and it has also helped to keep them from staining.
To use Toothy Tabs, all you have to do is to take one of the tablets and nibble it between your teeth. Then grab your wet toothbrush and brush normally. It starts to foam up and disperse in your mouth. Don’t swallow it and rinse well after you are done.
It’s a little more expensive than your regular toothpaste, but they are worth the price tag. I simply love the product.
