Nu Skin is a direct selling company that develops and distributes personal care products to a range of other products. It may not be well known amongst consumers but has been in skincare industry for over 30 years.

I was recommended this shampoo by a friend who works for Nu Skin. My hair is not the best so I have always looked for products that can actually do good to my hair. I have got fine straight hair. I wash my hair everyday as I don’t like the feeling of not having it cleaned and at times, it can get oily.

A little about the product, according to the company. Epoch Ava puhi muni gently cleanses and hydrates, leaving your hair clean, vibrant and lustrous. One of the reasons I purchased this shampoo was because it has two products in one. I thought this product would be exceptional however not better than any other shampoos I have tried. It gently cleanses my hair but does not hydrate enough. My hair was still dry even after repeated use. What I like about this shampoo is that it has a light and nice smell.

Just like skin, everyone has different types of hair, if the hair shampoo works for one doesn’t mean it will work for the other one. This shampoo was my first and last purchase for sure unless, it develops into a better product. This is purely my own opinion.

This is my first ever foundation. To be honest, I have never applied foundation on my face except for that one time I modelled for my friend. I don’t know what got me into buying this product but before making any decisions, I did some research and have heard a lot of good things about this foundation.


Estēe Lauder’s Double Wear Makeup is a 24 hour flawless foundation that stays looking fresh and natural through heat, humidity and nonstop activity. I love this foundation, it barely feels heavy on the skin. I bought this online and used their “foundation finder” to find the right shade for my skin. Currently, I am using 1n1 Ivory Nude and it is a pretty much perfect shade for my skin. Choosing a foundation doesn’t only require you to just grab and buy, you need to match not only the shade of your skin but also the undertone. Make sure you do a little research in finding your undertone. You may want to have a look at this "website" which gives a lot of tips regarding undertones. Back to the foundation, it gives medium to full coverage. I don’t wear it on a daily basis as I don’t want to ruin my skin so I opt to use it on special days. I apply with a wet beauty blender, it lasts for about 12 hours without any touch ups. It really has a nice matte finish, if you have oily skin then you will be definitely impressed with the application. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with a pump, because there have been times where I have spilled it on my clothes.


If you are suffering from acne, I don’t recommend to wear any foundation over it as it will cause more breakouts. Instead, you can go for BB cream. But if you are blessed with clear skin and are looking for a foundation that gives you a natural look with medium to full coverage, this is definitely worth a try. However, I feel that it can be too dry for people with dry skin so make sure you get a sample to try on before you even make any purchases.

I don’t know if you know, but I am an avid fan of Innisfree. My heart lies in Innisfree. Their products have never ever given me breakouts (touch wood). I love their skincare range, especially the Green Tea line. I have reviewed the serum from the same line. You can check it out here.

The Green Tea Seed Deep Cream is 100% squeezed green tea from Jeju and a perfect night cream for me. It is rich in amnio acids and minerals. The green tea seed oil creates a strong moisture barrier to keep your skin moisturised for longer. At first, I thought it would be heavier and greasier however the cream absorbs really easily and there is no stickiness. The product smells lovely, floral — similar scent to the serum. They both go along. However, I have got oily skin, I use it as my night cream since it can get oily during the day. This moisturising cream is my go to for Autumn and Winter since my skin tends to be dry then. I have had great results and my skin feels a lot smoother and more hydrated. One of the reasons I purchase from Innisfree is that none of their products contain stuff that harm your skin. I use this cream alongside other products like facial oil and serum. I do try other creams from different brands as well, but I always see myself going back to Innisfree.


Honestly, all of their products work great on any type of skin but of course everyone wants to be on the safe side and there is no harm trying different products to see which one your skin suits the most. If you are looking for a moisturising cream for your dry skin, you should definitely give it a try. I picked up this fresh mask randomly and for the fact I love roses (I mean who doesn’t?). As well as this, I cannot deny that I love any GOOD face masks. I did not purchase this but got it for free after returning their 5 pots. It makes you fall even more for Lush because of their thoughts towards the environment. If only more companies could recycle their used products' packaging and reward their customers in return.


Back to Rosy Cheeks, the main ingredients used in this product are calamine, kaolin clay, rose petals and Turkish rose oil. The simple blend of these ingredients calms the skin and restores balance. The colour of this mask is dusty rose and it has a fresh rose scent which makes it beautiful and attractive. The mask washes off with ease and leaves your skin feeling very clean and primed. It feels amazingly smooth on skin. If you have ever tried Lush’s products, they come with short expiry dates, especially fresh masks. This product was due in two weeks however if you refrigerate it, it can last longer. Trust me, I do that all the time. I use this product whenever my skin looks dull. I always wake up with fresh and brighter skin the next day. The redness fades away, the texture of skin becomes smoother and soft, the acne calms. Our skin can get uneven in tone at times, but this really helps bring back life to our skin.

I will definitely get this fresh face mask over and over again. I absolutely love Rosy Cheeks. If you have tried this product, I would love to hear what you think of it whether you love it or hate it.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is a beautifying mud-textured exfoliating mask. Honestly, the only reason I purchased this mask was purely because of its name “Himalayan”. Why? I mean, I am from Nepal, and the sheer beauty of the mountains is simply breathtaking though I have never gone that high. Back to the mask, it is formulated without paragons, paraffin, silicon or mineral oil and on top of that it's a 100% vegan product. And of course, charcoal masks are always classic.



This mud is light taupe in colour however the colour changes after drying. It contains green tea leaves from Japan and has finely milled granules so bare with it even if you don’t like it. I love that it comes in a glass container making it reusable. The gentle cooling and firming effects feel like it’s working as soon as you apply it on your face but once dry, it’s all fine. It dries out quickly so keep it for 5 to 7 minutes max and after massaging off, trust me your face feels refreshed. The smell is no problem if you are into a strong smell like tea tree oil. The mask can be easy to apply with your clean fingers however it can get really messy. After using a few times, I can see that my skin looks a lot brighter, cleaner and a lot less dull. It clears out some persistent blocked pores around the nose area. I usually use it when I am on my period to avoid any acne or if I want to exfoliate my face after a long butt butt day. I limit myself to using it once or twice a week. Skin renewal takes time so it’s not recommended to use masks daily. I experienced no redness nor irration on the surface of my skin. I absolutely adore this mask. Definitely a go to mask especially for the HOT SUMMER.

A lot of people have compared it with GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. I can’t comment anything on that as I have yet to get my hands on it. However, if you have tried those masks and are looking for a cheaper alternative, then this is the mask.

This product is definitely recommended for people who are looking to reach and minimise their blackheads and clear out acne. It gives out a clean and healthy looking skin. Not everyone has the same skin type, if you have sensitive skin, I suggest to try a small amount on and see the reaction.
