The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

Have you ever wonder why is it important to remove your make-up and what happens if you forget to? Before going to bed, it’s important to remove make-up as it can cause extensive damage to your skin. Most of our make-up is made of oily substances and when it stays for way too long, it clogs our pores and leads us to breakout. Remember that our skin renews itself whilst we are sleeping.
I always wear make-up as I work every single day. We all know how much of a struggle it is for us to remove our make-up before bed especially during winter time. No matter how tired I am, I always take off my make-up as I don’t want to wake up to a pimple. And remember that make-up remover wipes aren’t enough as they only remove the product from the surface of your skin.
You might be wondering what cleansing oils are? They work hard to remove impurities, they are extremely gentle and nourishing on your face. Most of these stubborn impurities are from oil-based make-up products. The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil is a silky soft cleanser formulated to remove make-up effortlessly without any residue. I have been using this product for about 3 years. I use this as the first step of my evening skincare routine to ensure I get my make-up off. Then I follow up with my ultimate favourite cleanser from Lush (Dark Angels). Trust me when I say that this cleanser literally melts the make-up, even those waterproof ones. It certainly has a definite scent but it is not very overwhelming. It leaves your skin feeling clean.
Make sure to not wet your face before applying this. You massage thoroughly and then you add water. The oil emulsifies the water. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or slick.
I am very picky when it comes to skin products, and this cleansing oil works wonders for me. I highly recommend this range to all skin types, especially sensitive skin. Don’t be afraid to try even if your skin is oily/acne prone. Also I have been hearing a lot of good reviews on Camomile Cleansing Butter, please let me know if you have tried it.
Love,
Rosh
